We are a private Montessori pre-school that aims to foster holistic development of a child to learn essential skills that may assist them in combating socio-economic issues as they grow. Our programmes instil peace, harmony and social-cohesion.

The school was established in 2024 in Newlands West, Durban; and was named after Lungisile Tammara Nzama who played a vital role in promoting literacy and inspired youth to pursue higher learning in education sector in Wosiyane Village, Ndwedwe; just few kilometres away from the Northern part of Durban.

Our Motto: Ontketen jou potensiaal which is an Afrikaans phrase translated as “unleash your potential”. At LT Nzama Montessori Educare we provide a platform for your child to dream and desire to pursue and achieve big.

Our objectives are



  • Cultivate awareness of children’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Teach essential skills that are applicable in practical life so as to gain competitive edge
  • Encourage learning and the use of different languages
  • Promote social cohesion
  • Boost learners’ confidence and self-esteem
  • Instill patriotism in them
